Tony and Tina's Wedding
Dates: (???) - ongoing
Start Time: 6:30 pm (7:00 pm ceremony)
Ticket price: $75.00 - $85.00
Category: Theatre
Location: St. Andrew's Wesley Church, 1012 Nelson Street, Vancouver, BC
Details: Hoarse Raven Theatre's smash hit comedy Tony n' Tina's Wedding continues to thrill and delight audiences going into its seventh straight sell-out year.
The wedding begins with a traditional, but hilarious ceremony at Vancouvers heritage landmark, St. Andrew's Wesley Church at 7:00 pm ( doors open at 6:30 ). At the church, the audience members, who are greeted as wedding guests, meet the show's colourful characters: the feuding Nunzio and Vitale families, the best friends of the bride and groom, the charismatic minister and the brooding ex-boyfriend.
After the ceremony, the wedding guests and wedding party walk next door to Century Plaza Hotel & Spa's Burrard Ballroom for the wedding reception. Celebrations include dancing, singing, a Vegas-style lounge act and, of course, a sumptuous Italian four-course dinner. Wedding guests meet and interact with the bride and groom's eccentric relatives, learn juicy family secrets, get drawn into lovers' quarrels and family disagreements, and even have a chance to boogie with some of the cute ones. The producers of the show advise audience members to keep their eyes and ears open at all times; they guarantee this is one wedding where anything can happen !
